Netherlands - Jewish Amsterdam
The Jewish name for the Dutch capital is ‘Mokum”, which means ‘safe place’ in Yiddish. And indeed, Jewish communities found sanctuary here for centuries. Our walking tour tells the story of Jewish life in Amsterdam through key sites such as the Anne Frank House, the Old Jewish Quarter and a synagogue complex turned museum. A poignant, powerful and highly informative experience.
